A management graduate from Illinois, Chicago, Salman Babukhan leads the Babukhan enterprises into the next millennium as it grows from strength to strength.
Secretary to the Hyderabad Education Academy, he is associated with the development of Glendale academy- the premier corporate school in Hyderabad and the spring fields group of schools.
Accredited with the construction of some of the finest buildings in contemporary Hyderabad, the Millennium Centre, the Asifjahi Towers, the Liberty Plaza, and the Glendale academy campus are some of the feathers in his cap.
He, like his father, is actively involved in social service projects. Former chairman and member the Hyderabad Round Table Area 134, he is also member of the Young Indians (YI) a Confederation of Indian Industries and the 10K Foundation that funds the education of Underprivileged Students.
Salman Babukhan, scion of the renowned Babukhan family of Hyderabad (India), completed his schooling and graduation from Hyderabad and then went on to acquire a Management degree from the Loyola University of Chicago, Illinois, USA. A multi-faceted personality, he is the custodian of the awe-inspiring Babukhan Legacy that straddles across diverse fields such as education, adventure sports and construction, to name but a few, and simultaneously espouses several philanthropic causes. His core competencies are Human Resources, Finance and Marketing.
As an educationist, being Secretary of The Hyderabad Education Academy, Salman Babukhan has successfully steered Glendale Academy and The Springfields Group of Schools towards conquering new frontiers in the realm of education.
As a member of the Hyderabad 10k Foundation, Salman Babukhan has helped conduct the 10k run and the Half Marathon successfully from 2003 to 2007. An ardent lover of adventure sports.
An active proponent of social causes, Salman Babukhan is a member of several service-centric organizations. He is the former Chairman and present member of the Hyderabad Round Table, Area 134 and a member of the Young Indians (Yi) of the CII as well.
In the field of construction, Salman Babukhan lends his expertise to the construction wing of The Babukhan Group and has been responsible for landmark architectural creations such as the Babukhan Millennium Centre, the Asifjahi Towers, the Liberty Plaza and the sprawling Glendale campus with its lush, beautifully landscaped gardens.
Salman Babukhan’s objective in life is to develop strategies that work on the principle of self reliance and to execute them for a cause that benefits the primary areas of shelter and literacy.
